RENEE LYALL

OWNER, INSTRUCTOR

I was an ardent Yoga and Pilates student for more than 20 years. I completed a comprehensive Pilates training with a student of both Stott and Romana Kryzanowska’s program making my training a mix of classical and contemporary Pilates. I teach private clients and group classes to all fitness levels making Pilates approachable for everyone. My previous career was in technology and finance that over the years weighed on my body, mind, and spirit. I was also in a car accident that increased a scoliotic curve. Through Pilates, I regained strength, flexibility, and peace of mind. I am passionate about sharing what I have learned and my experience of the life-changing benefits of practicing Pilates consistently!

One of Renee's favorite Joseph Pilates quotes:

“Everyone is the architect of their own happiness.”

As a sickly child who went on to become, quite literally, a brand and byword for physical fitness, Joseph Pilates realized that people are able to effect radical personal change if they are willing to commit to it. Pilates is more than just physical fitness. It can radically enhance mental, emotional and spiritual well-being too.

NATALIE HUBERMAN

INSTRUCTOR

Natalie came to Pilates as a professional dancer in 1978. She first trained in Los Angeles and received a certification through the Physical Mind Institute and Balanced Body. She owned three studios in Los Angeles before moving to Northern California. Trained in Classical Pilates, she has continued to grow and learn new techniques and ways of expanding her knowledge so that she can challenge herself and her clients. She trains private clients as well as group classes and loves working with all levels of fitness.

One of Natalie’s favorite Joseph Pilates quotes:

“Change happens through movement and movement heals.”

Stooped over screens all day, our musculature develops to accommodate that position: we become slouched. Pilates can correct that slouch: through carefully focusing on specific movements, Pilates stretches the muscles surrounding the spine – people can literally end up taller.

LYNN DALQUIST

INSTRUCTOR

Lynn Dalquist is a certified Peak Pilates and Stott Instructor. In 2013 Lynn opened Peach Pilates in Bend. She eventually sold the studio but has continued to instruct and grow her loyal client base.

As a former collegiate tennis player and Teaching Professional with the USPTA, NWPTA, and the USTA, Lynn has focused on training both the mind and the body. It was within the professional world of tennis that Lynn was introduced to Pilates.  Having sustained an injury on the court, she was advised by her doctor to seek out Pilates. Through several hours and years of training, she pursued her personal path of instruction.

Lynn enjoys tennis, hiking, and rock climbing.

One of Lynn’s favorite Pilates quotes:

"90% of the stimulation and nutrition to the brain is generated by movement of the spine.”

— Dr Roger Sperry

1981 Nobel Prize Winner for Brain Research
